Training in Sofia of Bulgarian actors of the IMPRESS Table Top Exercise

An interactive training session of IMPRESS project held with representatives from the Bulgarian public services that will be involved as players in the Greek-Bulgarian Table Top eXercise (GR-BG TTX) in Sofia the 24th February 2017. In the training that was organized by IICT-BAS and hosted in the premises of the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies in Sofia, participated representatives from the Regional Emergency Medical Center of Blagoevgrad, the Emergency medical Center located in the Hospital of Sandanski, the Emergency medical Center located in the Hospital of Petrich, the EMS brunch of the Blagoevgrad Unit located in Kresna and the Bulgarian Red Cross headquarter in Sofia.

The training was performed locally by IICT-BAS and KEMEA and it was remotely supported by Satways (INCIMAG), ADITESS (WARSYS) and Fraunhofer IVI (INCIMOB).

During the training the participants were familiarized with the IMPRESS solution and its components as well as for the context of the GR-BG TTX scenario. They provided information regarding the structure and operations of the Bulgarian Health Emergency Services and concluded on how this should be included in the exercise in a realistic way.

The participants were trained in the use of the mobile component of IMPRESS (INCIMOB), while a remote training session was provided as regards the backend Incident Management system of IMPRESS (INCIMAG). The on-line training platform of IMPRESS was also introduced to the participants as a tool for self-practicing in IMPRESS issues.
