Training of Greek actors in Thessaloniki for IMPRESS Table Top Exercise

An interactive training session of IMPRESS project held with representatives from the Greek public services that will be involved as actors in the Greek-Bulgarian Table Top eXercise (GR-BG TTX) in Thessaloniki, on the 3rd of March 2017. In the training that was organized by KEMEA and EKEPY, hosted in the premises of 3rd and 4th Administrative Health District, representatives from EKEPY, Ministry of Health, General Secretariat of Civil Protection, National Emergency Center (EKAV) both Athens and Northern Greece, Hellenic Center for Disease Control & Prevention(KEELPNO), two large hospitals of Thessaloniki (Papanikolaou and Ippokrateio) and General Hospital of Serres, have participated.

The training was performed locally by KEMEA, ADITESS (WARSYS) and EKEPY and it was remotely supported by Satways (INCIMAG) and Fraunhofer IVI (INCIMOB).

During the training the participants were familiarized with the IMPRESS solution and its components as well as for the context of the GR-BG TTX scenario. They provided information regarding the structure and operations of the Greek Health Emergency Services and concluded on how this should be included in the exercise in a realistic way.

The participants were trained in the use of the mobile component of IMPRESS (INCIMOB), while a remote training session was provided as regards the backend Incident Management system of IMPRESS (INCIMAG). The on-line training platform of IMPRESS was also introduced to the participants as a tool for self-practicing in IMPRESS issues.
